There will be a "Level 1 - Beginning Coach Program" course held at The Ridge on Sunday, September 19th 2010, from 8:30am to 5pm.

Illawong Athletics encourage anyone thinking about joining the coaching ranks to take the course as it is a good introduction to athletics coaching.

The cost is $215 which includes registration as an accredited athletics coach plus all resources including skills manual and DVDs.

For those club members wishing to commence coaching at either a junior or club level, the club will reimburse the cost of the course upon successful completion.

Registration is online via the Sports Education and Learning website. Registrations close at 5pm 14th September so be quick!
