Overnight Ella Nelson and Jake Hammond reached the semi-finals of the 200m at the IAAF World Junior Championships in Moncton Canada.
In heat No. 2 Ella recorded 24.26 finishing 4th. This time she improved upon in the afternoon semi-final recording 24.06 in finishing a very creditable 6th.
Jake in the first heat of his event recorded 21.37 finishing 3rd and automatically qualifying for the semi-finals. In the afternoon semi he also improved, recording 21.28 and also finishing 6th.
