Start of the Season Skins Sale - Items Almost Half Price

As its prize from the 2009 Club Premiership, the club received a selection of Skins apparel.This apparel will be on sale to club members on Friday 1 October and Friday 15 October at the Ridge from 6.30pm at significantly reduced prices.

Level 1 Coaching Course at The Ridge

There will be a "Level 1 - Beginning Coach Program" course held at The Ridge on Sunday, September 19th 2010, from 8:30am to 5pm.

Illawong Athletics encourage anyone thinking about joining the coaching ranks to take the course as it is a good introduction to athletics coaching.

The cost is $215 which includes registration as an accredited athletics coach plus all resources including skills manual and DVDs.

For those club members wishing to commence coaching at either a junior or club level, the club will reimburse the cost of the course upon successful completion.

Registration is online via the Sports Education and Learning website. Registrations close at 5pm 14th September so be quick!

Summer Track and Field set to commence on Friday evening 17 September

As the Cross Country season draws to a close we commence the search for our spikes and throwing shoes.

The Illawong summer Track and Field season is scheduled to commence on Friday night 17 September at 6.30pm.

Illawong athletes perform well at Australian Cross Country Championships

In the USA the best of the best in the navy go to Miramar. Well today in Cross Country they went to Bald Hills in Queensland. At these Australian Championships Illawong was fortunate to be represented by five of its best junior cross country runners and they all performed admirably.
